Do you need more than PrestaShop Product Comments?
A basic Product Comments setup may be enough for stores that only need ratings and written feedback. Advanced Product Reviews is designed for a more complete review workflow: asking customers for feedback, displaying their photos, managing review rewards, and making large collections of reviews easier to scan.

Collect reviews customers can actually use
Choose who can submit reviews: verified purchasers, registered customers, or guests. Reviews can contain ratings, written comments, and photos that customers can open full-size.
You can also configure rating criteria for the whole shop, a category, or an individual product. Verified purchaser badges help shoppers distinguish feedback linked to real orders from other submissions.
On the storefront, reviews can appear on product pages, in category and homepage blocks, and on a dedicated all-reviews page. This allows shoppers to find relevant feedback without searching through multiple pages.
Request reviews after eligible orders
Customers do not always return to leave feedback on their own. Review reminders let the store ask at an appropriate moment after a purchase.
Configure the delay and qualifying order statuses, then run reminders automatically through CRON or send them manually. A reminder log helps the team see which customers have already been contacted.
For stores that offer an incentive, the module can issue a unique discount voucher when a review is published, with configurable value, validity, minimum order, and stacking rules. The reward should encourage honest feedback, not a particular star rating.
Help shoppers read more reviews with AI summaries
A product with dozens of reviews can be difficult to assess quickly. AI Review Summary turns existing customer feedback into a short overview displayed on the product page, while keeping the full reviews available below.
The module supports OpenAI and Google Gemini using the store’s own API key. Summaries can be generated and refreshed in scheduled CRON batches as new reviews arrive, or edited and regenerated for individual products. The module supports summaries in the shop’s languages and strips personal data from the review content before sending it to the AI provider.
There is no separate AI subscription charged by us for this feature; the selected provider bills API usage directly. AI summaries are generated from the reviews already collected — they do not replace genuine customer feedback.

AI summaries that keep the original reviews
When a product has dozens of reviews, shoppers need a way to see recurring themes without losing the details behind them. We designed AI Review Summary to show both what customers like and what they think could be better, with the original reviews still available below.
Making that useful in a real store takes more than an API request. The module removes personal data from review content before sending it to the AI provider, supports the shop's languages, and generates or refreshes summaries in scheduled batches. Merchants can also edit or regenerate a summary for an individual product.
Our approach: AI should make existing customer feedback easier to use, not replace it or create another workflow to manage.
Keep control of your reviews and data
Review moderation stays in the PrestaShop back office. You can approve or publish reviews automatically, edit and filter submissions, reply publicly, and handle reports of abuse. Customer notifications can be localized for the store’s languages.
For stores moving away from Product Comments, existing reviews can be imported in one click. A configurable CSV import and CSV export also make it easier to migrate, back up, or work with review records outside the module.
The module can add product review structured data so eligible pages may display ratings in Google Search. Rich-result display is determined by Google; installing the module alone does not guarantee stars in search results.
